As winter moves into spring, we've got a quick recipe to make some tasty chai spiced apple cider to warm up you and your taste buds. Melbourne's own Chai Walli chai blend is the perfect choice for this drink. We made it steaming hot to warm up cold fingers, but you may even want to chill it afterward and enjoy it cold.
What you'll need:
500ml of your choice of apple cider (alcoholic or non alcoholic)
2 heaped teaspoons of Chai Walli chai (go caffeine free if you need)
Step 1. In a saucepan, heat up the apple cider until it is bubbling happily.
Step 2. Add the chai. You can do this by adding it directly to the pot and straining it as you pour, or you can use a large tea ball. Brew for 3-5 minutes.
Step 3. Remove from the heat and serve. Watch out! It will be hot. You can even keep some of the apple cider to the side to add at this point to cool it down.
