What will shipping cost?


  • Shipping is $12 Australia wide however, all orders of $149 or more qualify for free domestic shipping.
  • Express shipping is available across the AusPost Express network from $17.99.
  • Express Shipping with Cryolux Cold pack available from $24.99 *reccomended for chocolate deliveries over Summer or year round for deliveries to WA and QLD
  • Local deliveries are $10 or free for orders of $99 or more. 


Shipping is now available to New Zealand addresses - shipping rates for New Zealand are calculated at checkout, and will change based on the weight and volume of your order. 


Click and Collect is now at: 181 Bell St Preston 3072 (Entrance on Newcastle St - Kennards Self Storage Reception)

Click and Collect orders will be held for 28 days. After this time if we've had no correspondence, the order will be cancelled and a 25% restocking fee deducted from the refund of your order.  


What if my parcel is returned to sender?

Domestic parcels returned to sender (Local Pantry Co Pty Ltd) due to incorrect address supplied by the customer, acceptance refusal or unclaimed from the Post Office will incur a return fee. Customers who wish to have their parcel resent to them will be required to pay the re-postage fee.

At the time of ordering it is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details. Should you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.

A refund is available for items that are returned to us in resaleable condition. Refunds are not available for customised items, such as Gift Wrapping, Gift Hamper upgrades and physical Gift vouchers.

International orders that are deemed undeliverable by the delivery provider will be abandoned. There will be no opportunity for redelivery for international orders. 

When are local deliveries?

Deliveries to our local area (Moreland (Merri-bek), Darebin and Banyule council areas) are scheduled each Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays). Additional delivery dates are scheduled for special occasions, such as Easter, Mother's / Father's Day and Christmas. Please check our social media for updates, or get in touch with our support team. Deliveries to these post codes is free for orders of $99 or more. $10 flat rate applies for smaller orders. 

How long will it take?


Orders placed by 10am weekdays will be packed same day (excluding Melbourne public holidays). Please allow up to 2 business days during sale periods and seasonal gifting times (Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Black Friday, Cyber Monday & Christmas). Shipping time frames are in addition to dispatch times.

Payments made by PayPal eCheque will incur a delay in dispatching your order whilst we wait for funds to transfer.


While most of our Australian orders are delivered within 48 hours, some deliveries to WA, FNQLD, regional and remote Australia can take up to 10 working days. We use a combination of local couriers and Australia Post to ensure that orders are delivered in a timely and cost efficient fashion. 

Deliveries to PO Box addresses must be sent using Australia Post.

Late parcel investigations can only be launched after the 'expected delivery dates' have passed. 


Deliveries to New Zealand should be expected between 8 - 18 days depending on final destination.

Do I need to sign for my delivery?

Postage options are available at the checkout for either, "Authority to Leave" or "Signature on Delivery". If you have selected "Signature" postage and are unavailable at the time of delivery, a card will be left for redelivery instructions or the parcel will be made available for collection from your local parcel pick up point (selected newsagents, Service Stations, Tattslotto shops or Post Office).  

When selecting Authority to Leave, keep in mind, that some food items may not survive a day in full sun during warmer weather, and our parcels are not packaged in plastic, so paper goods like posters, books and stationary may be damaged if left out in the rain.

If you have made an error in your delivery details, please email us straight away. We are unable to change details once your parcel has been collected from us by our delivery partners. 

How will my order be packed?

Our orders are packaged in cardboard boxes which have already been recycled wherever possible. We used recycled shredded paper to protect your items in transit and avoid using bubble wrap and excess plastics wherever possible.

We're also proud to use a carbon neutral delivery network for more than 90% of our parcels.

What if something is not right with my order? 

If your order has sent via courier and is missing or damaged, please alert us via email at within 14 days, for review. Photos of damaged deliveries will be required for us to process your claim. A refund or replacement will be made as appropriate. 

If your order has been sent via AusPost and arrives damaged - please present damaged items to your nearest Post Office to lodge claim. We're unable to claim on your behalf as the item is considered yours once delivered.
